I've sent 3-4 emails over the years via Amazon's contact page, and not a single one has ever been replied to (despite Amazon's claim that most emails are answered in 12 hours or less).

I do appreciate the phone support, but e-mail is easier to convey things from time to time.

Is it just me?

I always got responses when I did returns or price adjustments.

I do know someone who doesn't get responses, but they DO fulfill the request in the email.

I just emailed them a couple days ago, along with follow up emails. They were extremely timely and helped me out no problem. wish every company was like amazon

2 emails, 2 responses late last year:
- to fix a magazine discount not working properly, they gave me the credit.
- for a better explanation of their purchase limit policy on Wii since I'd already bought a couple for Child's Play.

I emailed them twice and used their "Call Me" feature twice over the weekend. Got replies to the emails the same day or maybe the next and the call me thing worked great too.

Yup. Use the 'Call Me' features on their website. I did it a couple of times already and I always got someone on the phone in a couple minutes.

well, sounds like it's just you.

OP, are you sure you didn't send your emails to Amazorn.com?

Can't say about their email help, but their "phone me" option works very well. Just had a dvd replaced that was bought 2 years ago and one portion of it did not not play. They sent out another and a return shipping label to return the bad one.

Their e-mail works great for me, anytime I had a question or issue I would e-mail and get a response the same day. I even asked about a delay shipment one time and they apologized, giving me $10 credit.

Same here. Had to call them yesterday because FedEx delivered a package meant for me to who the hell knows on Saturday and have been giving me the run around about it ever since. Called Amazon, had the money refunded to my credit card in less than 5 minutes.

I consider their support the best in the business. Email usually works for minor issue (most replies withing 12 hours, some as long as 48 business hours), but important issues I always use their CALL ME service
