Does Alpha PEP 66 work on socket A?

I glued the fan on the top of the HS not on the side.
Just wondering if the base of HS will fit on the socket A chip.
Also removed the plastic spacer.

Yeah it will fit. I read a review somewhere on how to modifie it so it will work on socket A.

If you get/got a newer one, wtih an approved socket A clip, plus the removable rubber glue-on feet, you're fine.

I cracked a duron with my pep66 🙁
I don't recommend you use it because of the little layer of copper which sticks out on the botom. For me, it caused the hs to be slighty offset, causing temps of 60C + and eventually cracking it.
BTW: There is a new pep66 out with a flat bottom and fan on top.
