Does all bodywork repaired with bondo have that fuzzy paint look?

I'm sure we've all seen it where you look at a panel at an angle after it's been repaired and there's little to no reflection and the paint gives off that blurry, fuzzy look.

Is this something that's just inevitable with using bondo or just a result of poor work?

Are you talking about orange peel?

But no, bondo has to be primed before painted. So it should look like any other part of the car, IF it was done right.

99% of all show cars with crazy beautiful paint have bondo. The rest have lead free solder. No ifs, ands, or buts. It;s the only way to get a straight body and paint.

Well first and foremost any body guy worth his weight in bondo, doesn't actually use bondo brand bondo. That stuff sucks! I used to use Blue Ice or something like that. I wish I had learned how to solder better though...would have come in handy. But no if you do it right you can't tell where the body ends and the bondo begins. Most likely what has happened is that the bodyshop did not properly clean the area, didn't use enough primer, didn't sand the primer properly or sanded through and did I piss poor job.
