Does alcohol kills the vitamin C in a screwdriver?

I always seems to get the flu early in the New Year so I was wondering loading up on vitamine C would help.

Out of curiosity what is the proper amount of vodka in a screwdriver? I usually take a full glass of OJ and add about a half ounce of vanilla absolut. I know that is way less than most but I really like it as all I get is great vanilla taste and no harshness.

2 oz vodka
5 oz orange juice

Method
Put 3 ice cubes into a highball glass. Pour in vodka. Fill balance of glass with orange juice, stir, and serve.
