I dont see why it wouldnt work for the 9500 sense its the same core as the 9700, just crippled.

R300 means 9500/9700. So 9500 and up will benefit. Basically, all DX9 Radeons.

This is what i assumed as well. The core of the 9500 and 9600 are just crippled versions of the 9700/9800 respectively so i dont see how they would make it only 9700 on up.

except of course the 9500pro which has a fully working r300 core...only crippling by its 128bit bus.

check out this cars in xbit labs report on CS:S.....the 9500pro absolutely wipes dog dirt off the floor with the 9600XT, and totally destroys the 9600pros existance all together......im glad i have one
