does adaware detect spyware from firefox?

like death cookies and all the spyware associated with IE, does it scan Firefox with the same effectivness as it scans ie?

cookies aren't spyware, but I don't think Ad-Aware scans for cookies in Mozilla's cookies file yet but I could be wrong. You can adjust how it handles cookies though, like asking before accepting one or limiting their lifespan.
