Does AA and AF make text fuzzy

In battlefield 1942, when I have AA and AF both at 4x, all the text such as people's names, who killed who, etc was all fuzzy.

Is this normal when AA and AF is turned on??
 
I think that it's the AA that causes the problem with BF1942. I use AF all the way up with no problems but if I touch the AA bar the script in the game goes from blurry at x2 to the point of ineligible by the time you get to x6.

Use a higher resolution and some AF, the game looks and acts fine with no AA anyway I guess. 🙂
 
Yep it`s AA that causes the problems with text with some games,I personally prefer no AA & just use 16x performance AF with my ATi card.
 
BF1942 produces fuzzy text whenever AA is turned on. I'm almost tempted to just keep AF on without AA. Helps the FPS quite a bit too. 😉
