Does a volt make a big difference???

I put a new Seasonic s12 500 in my computer yesterday. I carefully routed and wrapped all cables so it looked as neat as possible before i even turbed it on (talk about bravado, but I've never had a DOA anything). Powered up and wnet off to the races - everything works like a charm. Today I clicked on Everest for a complete system overview. Lo and behold- Everest sya my 2.5 volt line is only 1.55 volts. Do I need to undue everything and RMA this PSU to NewEgg??? What is the 2.5 volt line for - ram???

According to what I know, I don't realize that there is a 2.5v line from the PSU.

There is no such thing. The 2.5v line that everest is talking about is the vdimm (memory voltage).

No there is not a 2.5V on any PSU pin-out but the OP was talking about RMAing his Seasonic.
That is why I told him to use a DMM.
