does a usb gamepad work in a dos window inside of win 98? I have a tablet pc with win 98 and i wanted to play some dos games. If i have usb game pad that can emulate keybaord input, could it emulate keyboard input inside of a dos window in windows 98?

the only prob is i dont have it yet.....

buy it and try it, they're cheap and chances are (if it doesn't work), you'll find some use for it.

The answer is no (I think I remember).
Great though these gamepads are, they depend on their large drivers to translate buttons into keypresses.
DOS does not know USB, or at least didn't when I last tried it.
