Does a true slot 1 equivalent slotket exist?

I am looking for a slotket that meets the following criteria:

1) TRUE slot 1 profile equivalence. It can be smaller than a standard
slot 1 processor + standard (i.e. Intel supplied) heatsink, but
not larger. DEFINITELY not taller.

2) Truly supports DUAL PROCESSING. Not *SAYS* supports dual processing
or has a dual processing jumper (that doesn't actually work). But
really works, with any problems, in a dual processing PIII
Coppermine setup. (To be used on Intel based platforms, i.e.
a BX- chipset board or an i840 chipset board). Voltage adjustment
and the like is NOT required. I am only concerned with working
at stock voltage. Also, I don't care about Celeron compatibility.

I have had nothing but grief from the slotkets I've tried, so I'm
not going to try again unless someone can assure me there's a
slotket out there that meets these criteria. BONUS POINTS for
slotkets that are available cheap. Would probably be buying in
modest quantity (10 or so) if I can find one that meets the above
criteria and is CHEAP...

Since all the higher end PIIIs are either unavailable in
slot 1 config or else MUCH more expensive that way...I've decided
to revisit the slotket possibility...

Agree with Bacillus, the S370-DL is probably your best bet, especially WRT dual configurations.

An alternative might be the Powerleap slotket.

Advantages:

* still in production
* supports CPUs up to Tualatin

Disadvantages:

* price is around 70$ (send 'em email, it's not advertised without CPU on the site)
* possibly bigger than your requirement
* only says PIII-S Tualatin CPUs work in dual configuration.

The last point is important. The problem is that apparently the bus request pin needed for smp is 'moving around' with CPU generations, i.e. the slotket designers have to consider the various pin outs for CPU types (PPGA, FCPGA, FCPGA2).

So I don't know if a slotket designed to work in dual with a Tualatin CPU would work for dual Coppermines. Best ask the Powerleap folks.

Edit: linkfied

The ABIT Slotket is a good choice as well as the others that were mentioned. They are hard to find anymore, but try Ebay. There are usually some listed there. Good Luck!
