Does a superfast storage solution exist for my laptop?

I have a Dell M4400 laptop.. quadcore 2.53ghz.. I use it for everything and I develop using mostly virtual machines.

I have two pcmcia, one sd, and an internal mini-pcie slot available.. I want to make a fast 2nd drive available.. but it doesn't look like any fast pcmcia drives exist (baffling)..

Any good solutions? links?
