Does a program exist to..... (MP3s and naming)

Ryan

Lifer
So, I'm trying to organize my MP3 collection so that all of their tags and file names are consistent. Instead of doing all of that manually, is there a program that will look at the file name/current ID tag and give me a list of possible song titles that match in the ID Tag Database (?), then let me select one and update the file name/tag automatically?

Thanks 🙂

Is there a free one that will last longer than 30 days? I accidently put my calender a month forward to see what a certain date was and the program thinks my 30 days are up. That sucks because I still had some left to do, and even when I changed it back it still says my trial is up.

And if you can't read this post for whatever reason it is because I celebrated the 4th a lil too much. Cheers, I'm about to go play Sim City 4.

I use tagscan

The author is russian and so is the website, but the proggie itself is in english 🙂

Edit: <-- Eeeeek I've just wasted my 1001th post here!! Finally Golden w0000t

Thanks!

I used Musicmatch Jukebox which came with my iPod. It sucks for just about everything but it is really good for renaming MP3s and mucking with ID3 tags.

I have a program that I made myself that does exactly what you want.

Unfortunately, because of an old Powerbuilder version I can't build a good exe.

🙁

I can't upgrade either because it never works. Can't afford to either...25 megs on dialup @ 5 cents a min.
