I am spoiled by my Onkyo Receiver which has an Android application to control most of the functions. I have a few devices which are not controllable by Android over Ethernet
So here is my idea for a thing I hope exists
I want a device that I plug into my home network (Wired or WiFi it does not matter) and it has mini-jacks that I can plug one of those mini IR Senders that attach to the devices IR sensor that preferably has an Android application that I can control my whole home theater with my Tablet
I only thought of this idea after I saw the new Vizio tablet that has a built in IR Sender. I bought one (Sent it back after I thought the IR Application was a piece of junk)

Thanks

My 1994 Panasonic Compact Audio System (SA-CH60)

Although I think $$$ wise it would be cheaper to find a replacement remote control on eBay and program my Logitech Harmony with that

I just though it would be cool to have a remote that I can make a phone call with (For Bragging rights only probably)

harmony link maybe?
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/440/8439
you basically use any android 2+, or iphone/ipad device and the harmony link app (uses wifi between the tablet/phone and harmony link)
it has most of the functionality of a harmony remote

if you don't mind new (i think without warranty though), an ebay store tends to sell them for $70
otherwise they're basically $100 everywhere
:( a while ago, logitech had a pretty good coupon (i think 40% off logitech store stuff) but it ran out pretty fast i think
