Question Does a monitor (16:10) with these sort of specs even exist nowadays?...

I'm looking for, ideally, 24" 1920x1200 (16:10) or higher resolution at >= 144 Hz refresh rate.

Does such a thing exist? I don't think it does.

Honestly, I'll pay up for one if it does. I really dislike 16:9 in comparison.

EDIT:

This is one of the closest models I've found (only 75 Hz though):

Would it really do 75 Hz steady though? I mean, that would still be a huge upgrade for me, given I've been using 60 Hz for basically forever.

1920x1200 plus audio data, was already bursting at the seams of what HDMI 1.4b could support, bandwidth-wise.

If one existed, it would need to utilize HDMI 2.0, and most HDMI 2.0 monitors these days are also higher resolution.

Basically, what you're asking for, are monitors from different eras fused together, and that's (probably) not going to happen.

What about a nice 2560x1080 144Hz option instead?

I like 16:10, like at unhealthy levels.

And would the monitor I linked in my above post do 75 Hz? I realize that's only a 25% upgrade over 60 Hz, but I really really like my 16:10, so I might go for it.

If it states that it can do 75hz, why wouldn’t you believe it?

16:10 are rare, and are aimed more at productivity than games. High refresh rates aren’t that important for such applications.

There's plenty of 16:10 monitors around, but as you say they are aimed at office stuff (which they do really well).
I'm about to buy 2 16:10 24" ones for my wife to run in portrait for Trados/MSoffice duty.

I'm seriously considering one of these LG Dualup monitors
I prefer 16:10 as well, but a 2560x2880 would be almost like a canvas for graphic work and great for productivity. Sort of geared for creators not consumers but if the quality is there, I could probably find a place for it in my life. Despite the pictures, it is one piece with no border between the monitors.

That looks like a decent monitor. Personally I'm fine with 75 hz and it is a huge step up from 60 hz for my eyes. 75 is its native refresh rate yes it will do 75 until you trade up to an OLED or the next big thing.
