No they don't. A Golden Orb is not for Socket A. You will crack the corners of the die and have yourself a nice keychain. The Chrome Orb was specifically designed for that purpose, also the Super Orb. However, you will want to check if you have enough space on your motherboard. I had to move a couple of capacitors to fit a Super Orb on my board. Works just fine now. Gonna go back and move one more to make room for the Blue Orb and see what kind of FSB I can hit. 115MHz is stable for now though. If you can use a soldering iron, it's not that hard of a job, just takes some patience.

Hmmm, I wonder if that's what those people who buy my cpus do, then tell me they cracked it putting on an Alpha. :Q

File off the leading edge of the Chorme Orb to ensure proper fit around the Caps- worked for me. Aluminum is soft so just about any 1" file will do a good job.
