Does a dual boot system on a single hard drive need antivirus in both os

Do I need to install two copies of Norton, one in Windows Me, and one in Windows 2000, if they are set up as a dual boot, on the same disk?

Yes, install it in both operating systems. However you can install to the same location (will have to be a FAT32 partition as ME won't recognize NTFS partitions) so it wont take up any extra space and will be registered in both OS's.
