Does a BFG 6800GT oc for $350 used sound good?

I may buy a slightly used (less than 1 month) BFG 6800GT oc from someone on these forums for $350. It has never been oc'ed, hasnt been registered yet (so i can register it and get the warrenty), and runs fine. It also comes with Doom 3.

I was just wondering if that is a bit too much money (can get for $400 new). Thanks!
 
Last I checked price check threads weren't allowed, but if that's the cheapest you can find one go for it, especially if it's got the reference Nvidia heatsink.

My parents are telling me "well, would the warrenty still be good if u got it?" I think it would be being he didnt register it yet right?

They also say, "you could spend an extra $50 and get it new" I know i could, but i dont wanna spend that much.

BFG takes their cards back no questions asked, they don't even give you a warranty card, just call their support when it craps out and you'll have an RMA number.

Doesn't matter, you get an RMA number and send the card back and wait or your new one. BFG is very good about returns.
 
You can buy one brand new for $354 or so, even from Best Buy, and they have a Mail in rebate for $105 on it too. Just go to their website and look under graphic cards.

Ok, where can i buy it for this much new?

The Bestbuy deal is for the 6800nu, not the GT. I already tried calling them and asking...
 
If i were in your shoes, i would NOT buy this card. I personally only buy used sh!t when it is well worth it. And in your case, you could get a new one for 39 Bucks more.

Offer the guy $325 for it. That would be worth buying used IMO.
