does a 30 cfm fan make a big difference over 21cfm?

Jiggz said it. There is a big diff in the idle/stress temps of your CPU. Unfortunately, along w/that temp drop comes noise from the fan. A tradeoff. Fan noise doesn't bother me much, though. Except when I'm trying to sleep...so I usually power down at night, unless I'm DLing something big or doing maintenance.

The default fan on the Taisol it actually very effective even though it's only 21CFM, and it's SO quiet. If you go to a 30CFM fan you would expect to see some drop in full load temps though.

As a side note - you have 1.85V in your sig, but 1.93V (real) in your post; I wonder how many other people do this? Eg say they are running at 1.7V but really it's more like 1.80V...

you're right. i only recently decided to consider real voltages as the ones to indicate, and do think as you do that most people is posting bios-rounded ones, otherwise it would be impossible to point out you're running at 1.7 , 1.75, 1.8... instead of say 1.73, 1.91 or whatsoever, i mean, there is not such an accurate (on purpose to advertise they are better performers?) mobo as to keep the voltages they say in the bios settings.btw i have to mod my sig. now i'm only at 140x10 at the forementioned 1.93, tho i have done some experiments that have led me to consider an upgrade to 400w. psu so i'll let you know in a near future.
