Does a 13" 1080p IPS DVI monitor exist?

I'm looking for an ultra portable second monitor for my laptop. I would ideally like it to be 13" and 1080p with an IPS panel. It needs to get the video signal from DVI though - it can't be one of those USB Displaylink monitors like the Asus MB168B+ because DisplayLink is proprietary and doesn't work on Linux.

Anything out there that fits this description?

I don't know of such a display available for purchase. The closest I've seen are smaller, but also lower resolution standalone monitors:

I have one of the 7" 1280x800 IPS monitors--PID 1033. It's very cute and surprisingly useful for troubleshooting and impromptu use with systems that usually run headless. A 10" 1080p version would be great, but have not seen such a thing to date.

couldn't find any monitor like that from a quick google, but there is possibly a way to convert a laptop lcd into one that accepts dvi input.

requires quite a bit of work, but might be something fun to do.

Amazing. I think I might actually end up doing this. I can actually have another one of my current Asus 13" IPS 1080p panels as an external. Maybe find a place to 3D-print me an enclosure. Or just buy the enclosure that Asus uses.
