Anyone here try installing 4GB of RAM into an 865G mobo?
Arg, just realized I cannot install 64-bit Win7 on that platform anyways, socket 478 only supports 32-bit.
Although, I have some 865G mobos here that support C2D chips, which do support 64-bit.
Hmm. Just wondering if it would be worthwhile installing 4x1GB DDR DIMMs, or just installing 3, since it can't really use all 4 completely. Would save my client $40 to leave one off. Would lose dual-channel though.
