Im about to get from trading this ram that is made by Hyundai. It indicates that it is pc100 2-2-2. Will it do 143 at 2-2-2? Can it at least do 124mhz?

That all depends on luck.... but I wont expect PC100 to do 143 2-2-2.

If it's 7ns RAM, why is it rated PC100? 7ns = 143MHz 7.5ns = 133MHz 8ns = 125MHz No?

7ns ram will likely hit 2-2-2. No gaurantee, but 7ns tends to hit 2-2-2 at 143, even the cheapo ones. It's very unlikely that 8ns (PC100) or 10ns(cheapo PC100) ram will make it to 143mhz 2-2-2. A more plausable speed for 8ns would be 133mhz 2-2-2.

Read the numbers off the chips and see whether you can find a Hyundai spec document. Or try to get specs from the module maker. Who indicates that it is PC100 2-2-2?

The ram markings are

GM72V28841AT7K
9942 AG3

I searched the Hyundai website but I can not find the specsheet.

Yours start with GM , so i guess it's not Hyundai ram.

It looks like Goldstar ram.

I have a 128-PC100 Mushkin Ram that runs at 2-2-2 @ 124MHZ on a O/C P3-550E. Never tried higher.

Looks like it is Hyundai RAM and is rated PC100:

GM72V28441AT/ALT

Take a look at the *.pdf file. It states that min system clock for your -7K chips is 10(ns). I believe that this is 10ns RAM (PC100) notwithstanding the somewhat misleading "-7K" designation.
