Does 3058 sound right for 3dmark 2003?

3DMark03 is videocard limited. That's about average for a 9600Pro.

Open up the Futuremark website and look for the ORB - Online Result Browser. Huge databate of comparable information. 🙂

Far as upgrade advice, I'm sure you know what I'm about to say. Celeron = needs to go.

well, this isn't an upgrade or anything. the mobo died and now i put in a new mobo. only problem is that for some reason, only xp sp1 and default via drivers work. the newest drivers for via can't be installed. so, the comp is running on xp sp1 and NOT the newest via chipset drivers.

i can't compare my score cause i don't have subscription to futuremark online stuff.

You don't need a subscription to compare, unless they changed everything recently. Which would suck.

I'd always do a reformat after a motherboard swap - I suggest likewise. 🙂

yea, i'm sure i'm only scoring 3 or 4 higher than that with a much better rig (though it's been awhile since i've ran 3dmark03).
