I had a 667 PIII with 113fsb and bought a 1gig PIII and think the 667 is as fast or faster.....Dah!!

Also, a friend has a new 1.5 P4 system and can't see any differences running the same proggie stuff.

I wish there was a web page where all this stuff is listed.

Appricate any info?

The 1ghz p3 has two versions, the E version and the non E version. E denotes a 133mhz FSB, so there are 133mhz and 100mhz FSB p3 1ghz's out there.

You mean 133MHz FSB right? Nearly all 1GHz PIII's had a 133MHz FSB. There were some that had a 100MHz FSB, but the way I understand it, they were pretty rare. Either way, there's no reason why a 667MHz chip should outperform a 1GHz chip.

As for the P4, you're not going to see any difference running everday programs e.g. Windows, IE, Winamp, office apps, etc.

Try this.

It's a link to Intel's support site. For some reason, I can't access it right now, but I know they give thermal specs and stuff like that. Not sure about the FSB but you can check it out.
