Is the viper actually the most powerful production car ever made in NA? I thought the Ford GT was more powerful.

Though I suppose this is old enough that the Ford hadn't come into production.

I noticed the Nebraska tag, and I noticed how it says "F16 NEXT"... I've seen a guy driving that same color viper with that same plate twice in like the past week... awesome

These things typically are not funded by tax dollars. There are sponsors for these events.

Same thing about the Blue Angles Air Show. (not using tax dollars)

 
They did this at the 2005 Luke Air Days show again. They ran 2 races. One with AB and one without. The F-16 won both. The non-AB was very close, but the AB one made that Dodge look like a joke.
