Well, the piston was replaced and the rings changed. The engine runs so smooth now... only problem? It STILL stalls when stopping in drive or reverse, but only sometimes and now, only when warm. A couple potential vacuum leaks were found and fixed, but beyond that we haven't seen anything else that can be causing it. Such an annoyance... well, I'll live with it. Starter's starting to slip, etc... I'm trying to sell it 🙂

My grand cherokee was just stalling in Park and Nuetral. A new Fuel filter, cleaned TB, and some injector cleaner fixed it right up.

If it is stalling when warm , while stopping, it could be a bad speed sensor in the transmission.

I don't think it's a speed sensor.. it's something vacuum related but what i'm not sure 😉
