Yeah I should clear that up a little. It would be easy to get 250hp to the wheels out of the 2.4l turbo . At the 230hp in the neon they are putting out 245ft-lbs with a super flat torque curve. Without looking at a dyno run I don't think the torque ever drops bellow 240ft-lbs from around 2k rpms to a little over 4k rpms.

The S2000 is a good example, the MRS is a 4cyl rwd too, but its rear engine, up till recently the SLK(230), The new benz C200(1.8komp) coupe and sedan.....my brain hurts now, in going to stop. But yea, they exist.
