I just got a Durango 4x4 with the 5.9, just a little warning if you get one:) I hope you enjoy gas stations because i spend most of my time filling the beast up. I mean I like to drink a little, but if I drank like my car does i'd be a damn alcoholic.
Oh yeah, I traded a Geo tracker for it. I went from 30 MPG to oh about 13 or so here in Myrtle Beach traffic. I only got 15 on the road driving 70-75.

Is it worth it?-----Damn Skippy, I love it:):)

I have a Durango as well. It's sh!tty gas milage is the best thing about the POS. I have never ever had such a worthless huck of sh!t. I advise against anyone buying a Durango.
Everclear, I hope you never have 1/16th of the problems I've had with mine.

A short list of the MANY problems I've had:

Transmission failure
Brake failure
4-wheel drive failure, seperate from the above mentioned transmission failure
Air conditioning failure
Push rod and lifter failure-engine rebuilt

All this and quite a few other minor things all happened before 25,000 miles.
In my state this POS is not a lemon.

My 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited sucked donkey balls too. Glad I dumped it for a 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser. 100% trouble free with the Toyota.

Ah... the joys of owning an SUV. I know how it feels. I have a '97 Ford Ranger which only has a 4.0 V6, but with LOTS of goodies. I get 15 MPG around town. I do better on the highway, but not a whole lot. I wouldn't trade it for anything though. It runs like a bear.

I'm saving 20 cents a gallon with priceline.com on gas, so I can't complain too much though.
