Meh, not really that great a deal. The Soviet dosimeters are cheaper. Those Ruskies know a thing or two about radiation.

Bought a lot for 120 bucks a pop new. DLA decided not to offer these anymore they got a D demil code which means they get crushed up and destroyed. Poof market goes up for these. I suspect the neutron detector component. I had a feeling the D Demil code was going to strike.

So now no more. Good return on investment. Preppers at gun shows etc.. paying 400 bucks. I set up a nice little sales presentation and got them moving quicker than bottled water at the Sahara desert. Huge market and money to be made in the prepper/Alex jones crowd.
Fun little investment. Sold a bunch and keeping 2.

Picked up for pennies on the dollar a brand new PDR-77 kit with the additional RPO package. Great for movie prop etc.. holding on to that one.

These niche items definitely have a niche market of collectors willing to pay. My doomsday museum is definitely almost complete.

Would love to pick up a davy crockett minus the Physics package but I suspect winning the lotto is easier.
