My grandpa who is 90 years young within the last year has developed peripheral vascular disease in his left foot. He doesn't have diabetes, and while he does have mild hypertension it is well under control with medication. He is also of healthy weight. We have taken him to 5 different vascular specialist and none of them seem to be able to help him. It is causing him a great deal of discomfort. Just wish we knew what to do to help him.

I think so, I mean he doesn't over eat.

If the doctors can't help, it might be worthwhile to look at a nutritional approach. Maybe schedule an appointment with a licensed dietician/nutritionist.

It might sound kinda hokey, but the more we learn about food and diet, the more we realize how much good health is dependent on what we eat.
In any case, I hope your grandpa gets better.
