How far ahead are you in the UK?
We had a week off, and tonight they're showing the second episode of the duplicates/clones.
That sucks. That was the episode they showed over here last week, this weeks one was awesome.
Why did they have a week off? Was there a holiday or something?
Spoilers aren't hidden when you hover a thread for quick-view. Thanks for spoiling it for me, jackass.
No idea. May have been because it was Memorial Day weekend in the US of A, and Canada had to follow the lead of their massa.
Oh well, at least we don't have to wait months.
True enough, after this next episode you will have to wait months thoughIt's back "in the Autumn"
Holy shit. Just saw, what's apparently, last week's episode. Wow on the end and can't wait for the mid-season finale.
It's good. Download it.

I just watched S05E03the first time Amy meets River Song, and River Song didn't seem to be amazed to meet her mother...?
I was thinking back to that too after I saw the mid-season break episode. Hmm... Anyway, it was pretty crazy to see the ending, but now that brings up questions, since we see Amy's daughter regenerating at the end of the second episode this season, but then Silence in the Library where River dies, she can't?

It could be due to her literally being eaten alive by the Vashta naradu (no idea on sp) so that she couldn't regenerate as she didn't have a body anymore.
I also have a question about episode 6Did anyone else catch that Amy told the Doctor that she saw him die? She admitted to seeing it happen when she thought she was talking to the Flesh Doctor. Also at the end of the episode the Doctor has a brief convo with his ganger.
Ganger: "My death arrives I suppose"
Dr: "But this one we're not invited to"
So it would seem that he knows that Amy saw him die and that he/they were invited to it, I wonder if this will cause him to attempt to change events.

river wasnt eaten by the vashta nerada, she took the doctor's place in the brainfrying juryrig to fix the computer. though it was implied that the voltage would incinerate any body, so no remains.
the doctor knows about the invite death, but the easy obvious solution is to have the ganger be the one who dies at the utah lake. after all, since when does the real doctor drive a red station wagon.
anyone catch the line between river and rory? "it's my birthday." lots of misdirects. I half expected the good man she kills to be rory given the build up of the cold open.
I think it was the FBI guy who drove the red station wagon.
nope, canton the older was driving a brand new tan ford pickup truck. doctor was laying on the hood of a 50's two tone station wagon with the stetson.
we need more things inside spoilers
regarding the library episodes, from what i can tell, if the doctor dies too fast he can not regenerate in time (refer to the "turn left" episode). they sort of implied this would be what would happen if he hooked his mind up to the hard drive. so likewise, riversong wouldn't be able to as well.
as far as the regenerations, I thought it was a trick learned by the timelords during their training inside their timelord academy, not all galifreyans can regenerate. And 12 is the number before they would need to be "recharged" with more regenerations.
i kid about more things inside spoilers
the theory of the dying doctor being a "flesh" would explain why there was no other tardis within sight. But I hope there's more of a twist than that and it isn't that simple.
Very true, but that's the point there are no more timelords to recharge the doctor, like the master was recharged, they mentioned that he was brought back for the war sometime in series 4 I think.
