Doctor Who Comics (IDW): Humble Book Bundle Worth Checking Out?

Are the Doctor Who comics any good? How do they compare to the TV show? I'm considering throwing down $15 for the Humble Bundle set they've got going right now.

i bought it, not the set, just enough to get all but the last tier.
haven't read any of the comics yet though. I like Doctor Who so figured I would enjoy it.
