I've been watching the new series of Doctor Who and really want to watch the old ones. I'm not going to buy the DVD's as it would be way to expensive to buy them all. So... does anyone know where I could watch the old classic episodes?

Hi, you can get some classic episodes on the us itunes store, they're not tooo expensive there. I'd recommend 'Caves of Androzani', 'Ghostlight', 'The Two Doctors', 'The Deadly Assassin'.

You can definitely get some on youtube or on other forums such as www.oliv3r.net.

If you've never seen the original series, just don't expect it to be as polished as the new one. I think their special effects budget was about a $1.99 for each episode.

I remember watching a few of the very first episodes in black and white. The actors would flub their lines and the camera would just keep rolling. Not enough money for a re-take, I guess.
