LEXINGTON, Kentucky (AP) -- A woman is accusing her doctor of branding her uterus with his alma mater's initials before removing the organ during a hysterectomy.

The uterus was going to be removed and DESTROYED as medical waste. What's the problem? Seriously.

I can see if you were having open heart surgery or something and the doctor wrote something on a rib or other part that wasn't coming out...but really...."emotional distress?" I'd be laughing my @ss off.

I can see and understand this from a "professionalism" point of view though...it was slightly uncalled for, but not dangerous or disrespectful.

They woman should be awarded nothing.

There was a thread on this a day or two ago. But yeah, that was my position on it too. They were taking it out anyhow, and she was in perfect health after the surgery.

My word on this? BFD

Sue him? Fine. But for "emotional distress"? Come on...

My fault. I searched for "doctor", not "dr".
