Docking station and 2nd monitor?

If I buy this docking station http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...ynote_irrank=0 for my Latitude E6510 laptop, will I be able to use my laptop monitor and an external monitor at the same time?

Basically have dual monitors, 1 on the laptop, and an external connected to the docking station, both work at the same time.

I'd hazard a guess and say yes. I used to do that with my laptop and no docking station (just attached to the VGA-out on my laptop).

Yes. I use an E6400 at work with the same dock and dual display works great.

Yes, it will work fine. I deploy those E-Series and that same dock here.

If you want to go all the way you should be able to connect two external monitors, one to the VGA port and the other to the DVI port on the back of the docking station and then connect a USB or wireless keyboard and mouse and your set.
