hi! I came across an article which says that Doc Martens are mostly made in China, I wonder if any of you have got a pair which was made in China? Is there any difference in the quality from the ones made in UK?

here is a link for ready reference..Doc Martens move to China

Doc Martens are some of the best made shoes I've ever bought. I've had the pair I wear now going on 5 years, and I wear them nearly every day. With a little bit of polishing they look brand new, and they fit perfectly. Let's hope they don't go down in quality, because that is the best $130 I have ever spent on a pair of shoes.

I agree. I've had my second pair for over 3 years now, wear them every day and they're still going strong. A little battered, but nothing a little boot dye/polishing can't fix. 😀

if you guys like doc's check out John Fluevog I buy a pair of these boots about once every 3 years. They are indestructable. My old ones are perfectly fine, but I just like to get an updated look.

These are my current kickers.

I don't really like the look of any of those Fluevog's Waylman.... Looks like someone was on crack when he designed them.
