Ick! I tried going the low guilt route to beer drinking by cutting out carbs and excess calories. Bad idea. If styrofoam could be put into liquid form, and bottled, this is what it would taste like.

I just saw the ad for it.

There is an idea why don't we go work out and then drink a beer which posts it carbs in grams. It is a beer not a Power Bar!

I can only imagine what it tastes like. Don't feel bad though I got suckered into buying that Smirnoff(sp0 Ice. Don't waste your time on that either.

Well just drink Miller Light. It's not really advertised as such, but it's been the lowest-carb beer out there at ~3 grams. I think that Michelob Ultra stuff is only 1 gram less.

I actually like the taste of Miller Light more than Bud and Coors Light. Of course IMHO nothing beats a good Boulevard Wheat, but drinking that stuff all the time would be bad for me.

Me and PA (18 and 16) were offered it at a convention in July. Everyone there seemed to like it.

It started off as a test market and then they took it to the whole state of FL about 3 months ago.

I bought a twelve of the Michelob Ultra on Sunday and have no complaints thus far. I believe it tastes fine, but then again I too am a Michelob fanboy.

Stats on beers:
Miller Lite 96 calories, 3.2g carbs
Mich Ultra 95 calories, 2.5g carbs

Miller Lite always has given me headaches (while drinking it). This was a big problem for me in college when the keg party has Miller Lite.

<=Woot, I'm Platinum after almost three years.

Why do people eat/drink anything recreational and not just go for the gold. Fvck the low cal, low carb crap. Just go get the eats and drinks that push your buttons and enjoy.

Michelob light is my "normal" beer of choice if I want to stock my fridge. That's why I decided to give the Ultra a chance. To me, it's just has an almost NA(neer beer) like taste to it. Extra carbonated, and "foamy" tasting.

Almost malt liquor like I guess.

I can't tolerate Miller Lite/Bud Light. I'm not a huge MGD fan either.

Do what I do: exercise a lot and then proceed to consume mass quantities with no worries. :D

Start drinking hard alcohol if you don't want the carbs.

actually, hard alcohol is the worst thing to do when you don't want carbs.....there are tons and tons of complex sugars in hard liquor, and complex sugars are made up of carbohydrates, so......

I did not know that. You learn something new everyday I guess.

Well what'd you expect out of an American light beer. The stuff shouldn't even be considered beer by world standards.

I actually kind of like it. It is no Rolling Rock but, it is better than Miller Light or Bud Light in my opinion.

Just bought a 12 of Rolling Rock today. It's my new favorite beer.
