Do your teachers give you syllabi with assignments?

So Tuesday we were told that this would be our last assignment till Christmas break, well it turns out we actually have to read about 1/6 of the book by next Wednesday because he forgot. :roll: Oh well...

They give me syllabii at the beginning of the semester. They don't give me one with each assignment.

about half of my classes have some sort of syllabus. Sometimes they have the HW assignments, but they normally have what chapter they plan on covering.

I had a couple teachers in college who gave out syllabi with every assignment written down on it. usually, assignments or not, we're off the syllabus within a few weeks into the semester (teachers calls in sick, forgets some kind of holiday, etc).

Yes, they generally follow them. The only time I've EVER had a prof deviate from the syllabus, it was to the ADVANTAGE of the class (i.e. moving a due date back).

yes theres one in my world lit class and it screws the class up
