Ugh, there was a typo on the address of a package I ordered. I figured it would be no big deal, I'll just call them and have it corrected. So I did and the shipper said it would be corrected. Was it? NO. So I figure alright, I'll just call up UPS and have them correct the shipping address. This was Wed morning at 7am. The lady tells me that they cannot correct the address until the package gets to my area.

Fine, I call back the next morning at 8am and ask if they could fix the address. They say "sure, no problem, we'll have someone call you within the hour." So I get a call at 9:30am from the local center and they tell me the driver has been notified of the address change and that it would be delivered that afternoon.

Fast forward to 5:00pm, a message shows up on the tracking that the address is incorrect. So I call them up and asked them WTF?! The lady told me that the driver was notified but he tried to deliver it to the wrong address anyway. She said that the person I talked to before did not enter the request change correctly. So she went though and changed it and told me that it would be delivered today, Friday.

Then for some reason I get a call at around 8pm at night from the local center saying that my address was wrong. Yea, no ******! So I give them the correct address, YET AGAIN. I figure no problem, it still says delivery has been rescheduled for the friday the 28th.

It is now past 5:30pm on Friday and no package. I call them to ask where it is and they don't know. I asked when I would get it and they said it will be delivered on Monday. I ask them why will it be delivered on Monday when they told me it would be delivered today and the guy told me because the address change request was made after 7pm yesterday. BULL SH|T! So I told them I just want to pick up the damn package asap and they told me someone would call within the hour.

Here is the tracking. Maybe someone can make sense of it....

That's what I told them to do, but it looks like I will have to wait until monday to pick it up for some reason. :|

If it's in a truck, the driver might not get back to base until after hours, and then WEEKEND!

agree with thread title. get it right the first time because if anybody else gets in the middle of it, they'll muck it up. like so.

Hahaha, this is gold...

They called me back at around 6:50 telling me that I could pick it up. So I go to pick it up and wait around for over 30min, half of that time was waiting in line and the other half waiting for them to try and find it. Apparently they had no idea where the package was. They told me that it must still be on the truck and someone should not have called me to tell me that I could pick it up. The truck wasn't due back until 8:30 and they service center closes at 8pm. :The girl there told me that the driver had not made an attempt yet so he might still attempt it but someone has to be home (DOH). Thank god I still had a note left on the door from this morning telling the driver to leave the package at the door. I got the package but if I hadn't left the note I would have had to wait until monday.
