JPT: what is that book about? does he debunk ghost stories or provide evidence supporting them? I'd like to know what Carl Sagan's thoughts on it are. (or were, he's dead)

I live in UK when I was stationed in RAF base,we were on guard duty all police dogs would not go into the area(explosive area where we kept all bombs etc)at night the dogs were scared,anyway one night my friend ran to me screaming about seeing a ghost speak to him, I got a glimpse of it ,he was ordered back into the area but refused & said I rather be court marshalled,anyway we found out afterwards they use to hang people there in the old days (the same spot) here in England.One of the books in the local museum has a book made of Human skin from one of the hangings from the very old days. In the end afterwards "no Joke" there was 4 of us on this guard duty spot(I will never forget it).

Triumph: In that book he tries to give a 'non-supernatural' explanation for most of these 'supernatural' events and beliefs. He also tries to convince people to use reasoning and skepticism before believing anything (which doesn't mean you shouldn't believe something, but you should weigh all possibilities beforehand).
