yes

the benefit outweighs the cost by far, and everyone should wear one

though I do not think not wearing one should be illegal

I always put it on. What's weird is when some drivers I've been with are insulted that I put a seat belt. They actually ask me "What? You don't think I drive safely?"

I wear my seatbelt 100% of the time unless I'm just switching vehicle positions in the driveway or something like that. Doesn't matter if i'm driving, passengering, in the back seat, etc. You're just stupid if you don't.

yeah, the only time i don't is when i am driving home from hockey... the arena is only about 3 mins away. also, if i'm ever in the car with the SO, the seatbelt has to be on unless i want to hear about it every .73 seconds.

I always wear my seatbelt because my last car had automatic seatbelt and I'm used to the seatbelt being on everytime I'm driving.

I've also been in some crazy accidents and learned my lesson the hard way so i know to always were my belt

I once had an accident (I had the belt). Since then, I almost always put the safety belt when on passenger seat, always when being driver, and sometime (in fact sometime not) when being a passenger in the back.

Duh. No seatbelt = stoopid. Despite this, some people close to me get annoyed if I mention putting it on and others I know there's no point to ask. WTF?

My friend's cousin (age 23) has been in two accidents and he wasn't wearing his seat belt either time. You'd think after the first one he'd have gotten the message.

And now that he has mild brain damage he can't drive any more, so it's a moot point.

But, hey, he sure was cool... up 'til now.

I always wear my seat belt when I'm driving. Of course I also always wear my seat belt when not driving as well. I know a few people who never wear them. I will never understand such stupidity.

I do most of the time, if I'm driving or in the front seat. In the back seat I never wear one.

Two of my family members never wear a seat belt. Asking them to buckle up is almost impossible.
