That's the watch i wear. Feel weird without it.

I've worn watches most of my life and see no reason to quit. Much faster to read the time on a watch compared to digging out a phone.

wow these m5 owners are a bunch of douches, i'm sure its some kind of inside joke but whats with the m3 hate? (no i don't own a m3)

but to answer the question: I wear a Tag Link if I'm getting dressed up, but 98% of the time I just use my iPhone

M3 and M5 owners are not fond of each other. Kinda like sibling rivalries but with cars.

Yes, every day. Feel naked without it.

Same here. I've been wearing a watch every single day since elementary school. It's gotten to the point where it feels weird if I don't have one on.

People tell me that they don't wear a watch because they "already have a cell phone". I always laugh at them. Digging into your pocket, pulling out your phone, and turning on the screen to tell time is nowhere near as elegant as simply glancing at your wrist.

I've entertained the idea of buying a smartwatch, but there is something alluring about the physical presence of watch hands, sitting on top of a traditional mechanical movement. Especially in an automatic, where you can often see the rotor and the gears moving around inside the case.

More importantly, I don't have to plug in and charge a regular watch every 24 hrs (an idea which I find absurd)

Watches these days are for fashion not utility. I don't own a watch because fashion isn't important.

Nonsense.

Nope.

Cell phones made the wrist watch completely obsolete. The only reason to wear one IMO is vanity.

Unless you work in a field that precludes carrying a phone, or where you may need your hands for other tasks, or you need to use some of the other functions that a watch is much more convenient for than a smartphone...

Then the answer is NO for me.

I rather spend money on a nice silver bracelet to compensate for the "nakedness" feeling.

Gold or silver bracelets have taken the place for watches on my hand for awhile now.
