I work in a factory, unless there's women around, then no I don't watch my language. That is until I heard said women swear too.

Hell yeah, most people do where I work, but there is this one guy that doesn't like it and keeps telling us to watch our mouth. He was on vacation the past 2 weeks, so that was great. I still curse, but If I can I try to avoid it in front of him. What I mean when i say if I can is when I feel like it. Obviously I control my voice, so I can either curse or not, so when I feel like it, I do.

Depends on what kind of work you mean... When I work at a regular job, the answer is usually a big fscking no, but my other weekly "job" (running the A/V equipment at chuch), well, um, yes, I do watch my language quite closely. ;)

Wish I could. I troubleshoot DSL self-installations over the phone for people that call in. Have to explain that the Windows desktop is not where the monitor and keyboard are sitting a lot. Sometimes I have to bite my tongue to keep it from saying "You fvcking idiot you know jack sh!t about computers why the fvck did you think you could install this?!?!?!?":|

sometimes i think there should be a test to buy a computer.

of course, judging by much of what tech support at the computer shop i work at has told my customers, i think there should be tests for the people on both sides of the phone.

That is true. There are a lot of people that dont know much about computers or even customer service for that matter that I work with.

Yes.

I watch the swear words pour out from my ruby red lips as a soft stream of water which delicately flows to my coworkers ears.

Um... no, I don't swear, at work or elsewhere. But everybody else in my office swears, and it doesn't bother me.

I hardly ever swear anyway, and yes, of course I do pay attention to my environment. I don't swear unless I know no one will be offended other than those I do want to be offended.

I would hazard a guess that the reason for this is marketing. Pre sales is all about how easy it is to get up and running. I was unfortunate enough to have worked for a year in pre and post sales support. We used to joke that our job was to make the salesmens lies work. An no I don't swear at work, it is not professional imho.
