Man, I feel sorry for the Swedish Intern. I know it's hard to get in the team, especially with language problems. He was probably all excited when he applied for the internship. To bad the management obviously didn't have a real plan for him or at least told the employees he was coming.

I used to but the whole focusing on the drama aspect instead of the building of the cars got old quick. Same thing with American Chopper.

The whole concept of these shows is great.

American Chopper
American Hot Rod
Overhaulin

But they over focus on the drama, I would prefer they focus on more of the technical aspects of what they are doing and actually show the viewer how they do the things they do, and how they overcome some of the design and fabrication challenges.

I have really grown to like Rides, with Jason Priestly narrating. It is what the other shows could have been.

Are they making new episodes? They have been showing the same 5 episodes for about 5 months now. I still have yet to see them finish one of the 3 cars in their episodes. Maybe I missed 1 episode somewhere.

And yeh the intern was useless.

From what I have heard, the drama is made up anyways. When you watch these shows you can see they all follow the same format. The time pressure is always overplayed. I saw one episode of american chopper where, once again, they were behind on making a bike. The thing that got me was that in the background on one shot was the another theme bike that was half finished. So much for being under pressure.
