I honestly don't care. I don't wash my hands after touching money, the thought has never crossed my mind. I've put change in my mouth several times and have yet to get sick from it.

Absolutely,
Money is simply disgusting, much easier to pay with a cc and cleaner.

I always wash my hands after handling money. I notice that money (bills or coins) ALWAYS leave a weird smell on my hands, and I prefer to not acquire germs from everybody and their dog that has touched the bill before me.

I'm not clicking on any link that says "ASS PENNIES!". I don't care how funny it could be.

(sad truth, I don't have speakers setup right now. :( )

I've never heard of this. What's wrong with touching money? Is it worse than the handrails in the subway for example?

 at you people who "YES, ALWAYS!!!"

I assume none of you has ever eaten at a fast food restaurant - never eaten at McD's, BK, etc. Or, do you want me to believe that you pay for your food, tell the cashier "I'll be right back", run to the bathroom, wash your hands, then come back to get your food.

Or, do you leave your food in the lobby and take turns with whoever you're there with guarding the food while you all run to the bathroom to wash your hands.

Honestly, when I worked in a restaurant, I washed my hands frequently, and wore latex gloves before handling food. But, in over 20 years of experience, I have observed very very very few people who washed their hands before they ate. Most of you are lying about your hygiene. But why? Who really cares? That's why you have an immune system.

(Wasn't there a recent medical case where someone ended up losing a limb to flesh eating bacteria that probably came from money?)
