Do you wait for browser and download redirects?

When a web page says "hey, this page was moved, we'll redirect you in 5 seconds to the new one. If your browser doesn't work so hot, click here" do you click the link or wait for the redirect? Similarly, when pages don't link directly to a file that you want to download and make you wait a few seconds for the download to start, do you wait or click the link to start it immediately?

'view source', see where it redirects to, copy the address, close my browser, goto the run prompt, paste it in the 'open' field, and then click 'ok'. dont even hit 'enter', i always click 'ok'.

yes i can wait the whole 5 seconds for the redirect.

why would i not click? there is nothing on that page to warrant staying for .5 seconds, let alone 5

I'd rather expend the energy to press down my mouse button one extra time instead of waiting for 5 seconds.
Why in the fvck would anyone wait?
It's like the page is asking you if you want it to do what you told it to do right now, or if you'd rather sit and wait a while for no particular reason.
