I use my gmail but since I'm a student, should I use my school address instead of some other domain or does it not even matter?

I'd imagine it's inconsequential.

I don't use my school address anywhere.

I think i would use my school email. My university's spam filters are really good, so i use them and then forward the email to gmail which catches stuff that my university account misses.

I have a much more professional looking e-mail than some near random letter/number combination that the school uses.

my gmail account gets zero spam.. and i've used it to sign up for stuff... my us army account also gets zero spam.

I do literally mean zero.. over the last 2 years i havn't recieved one unsolicited email.

I wouldn't. I used hotmail and that's where they emailed me for my first real job ever. I still have the email. :)

I have been using my school account. Just make sure they don't cut it off the day you graduate. As long as you can keep it for a short period of time after, then it is fine to use.

Same here. Although the pointless e-mails my unit sends sometimes might qualify:)

Yes. If you have an e-mail address like some others have mentioned (sm0ke420@hotmail.com), it's a good idea to use your school one. ;)

I use my email address on my own domain name. Since all of my work has been web development related, it makes sense for me.
