Just wondering how many people are actually use RAID arrays of some type out there. As for me, I'm transitioning from RAID 0 to RAID 5.

Sir, please read the thread title. It says do you, and WHAT TYPE. Ant / Roach killer, or the general insect genre killers...

Speaking as a Home /SOHO user.

My Mobo can do RAIDs, PATAs, SATAs, and other fashionable gimmicks.

However I use two Hard Drive, and a form of Software RAID.

Why?

1. I Can be selective no need to backup Junk and original files that are on DVD/CD as well.
2. I have No need to be fashionable, just need solid backup of working material.

Example for Software that does it - ViceVersa.

Only because I have to - to use a single SATA drive, my mobo has SATA/RAID integrated - I can't have one without the other. (Asus P4PE)
