Do you use MSN(or Windows) Messenger Alerts?

I never used them until a couple weeks ago, but now find them quite useful. I only use the breaking news feature, but it's really quite nice. There are only maybe 2 or 3 per day, so it's not like it is a big interruption or anything. I'm just wondering if anyone else uses this.
