Do you use left or right 'Shift' key when typing/gaming on PC/Mac?

right-handed, both shift keys.

I "default" to the left shit key, but depending on the placement of my hands, sometimes the right shift key is closer.

Just realized I literally never use the right shift key.

What's the deal with all the left-handed writers on the poll? Or did they just misread the question?

Poorly worded question. It should have been something like this...

I'm right handed and prefer right shift
" " " " " left shift
" " " " " no preference

same with left handed, and ambidextrous.

I am right handed and use the left Shift key all the time.

Ditto for typing but I use right shift for gaming as it's closer to insert/delete and the arrow keys.

I dont think I ever use the right shift key.
