Do you use forum speak at work?

I was listening on a phone call and as we were on roundtable this person says (and I'm paraphrasing): "No thanks I'm just lurking."

That had to be someone here D:

I too was lurking but must be better at it because I didn't get called on :awe:

Haven't heard "lurking" but I've heard people say they were "newbies." And I had an extremely unprofessionable boss who would send out e-mails using "u" instead of "you" and "ur" instead of "you are" or "your"


Example:
i hope ur stuff is good. do u know if ur ready?

If we're talking about unprofessional e-mails, I could write a book.

But no, I don't hear people using that type of vocabulary in the workplace.
